On Line Auction Information and Guidelines
This is the only fundraiser that our club does all year. The funds raised through the auction are used for educational programs and to help offset operating expenses for our annual wood show. The Auction will start on March 4 at 5:00 pm Hawaii Standard Time, and ends on March 26th at 5:00 pm Hawaii time.
All items that are being auctioned include shipping and handling to the Continental United States through the US Postal Service, Priority Mail. If you are bidding from another country, there may be additional shipping fees. We will do our best to find the most economical means to ship to you. If you live on Island and would like to come down to the Wailoa Center in Hilo, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on March 28th through March 31 to pick up your items, we will deduct the shipping before you make your payment. If any of the auction items are too large to fit in a standard USPS shipping box, that item will be clearly marked as Shipping Not Included. We will then calculate the cost of shipping for the high bidder based on the shipping destination.
For your convenience, we do accept Paypal and credit cards. If you are the winning bidder, we will provide you by e-mail with a "Buy It Now" link through PayPal.
Now to the fun part! To place a bid, use the On Line Auction Form provided on this page. All fields must be filled in. Each auction item will be updated 3 times per day. After they are updated, you will see the first name of the new high bid and the current high bid price. Of course you are welcome to bid as many times and on as many items as you would like.
Bidding is heating up on the auction pieces and there are only 4 1/2 days left. Please note that the closing on March 26th was moved from noon to 5 p.m. but late bids do not always show up immediately on the web site. The time stamp on the bid form will be used to determine the latest and highest bidder. Good luck and keep those bids coming in!
Today Saturday the 26th is the last day of our On- Line Auction, it will close at 5:00 pm HST.
